The Oracle@WiFi has returned! My cell phone, fortune-telling, interactive performance art project is back on. Once again, as skilled and sensitive artist, I will make photographs for anyone who calls my cell that, in theory, will answer their secret question. I have a new Instagram feed just for the project – theoracleatwifi. Please follow the project on Instagram and see all the readings. It’s fun – I promise! And if you would like to participate, anyone can, details are on the About page. Hope to hear from you in the upcoming months. Be sure to sign up for the Oracle newsletter if you’d like reminders on call days etc!
I’m thrilled to announce an upcoming exhibition at the Forward Arts Foundation’s gallery featuring work from select projects as part of Atlanta’s photography festival, Atlanta Celebrates Photography. The exhibition will run from September 27 to November 8, 2017. There will be TWO opening receptions (!!) – Wedn Sept 27 & Thurs Sept 28 from 6-9pm (both nights). I’ll be showing new work that has never been exhibited before as well as some favorites. All new is Nighttime, both new works and photographs that were featured in the magazine “The Bitter Southerner” in 2016. Another project that has never been shown is Like No Tomorrow. My highly acclaimed project The Oracle@Wifi will also include pieces that have not yet been shown. Other series include: every single one of these stories is true, Lost In Thought, and A Moving Image of Eternity.
The Swan Coach House Gallery is part of the Atlanta History Center complex and is located at 3130 Slaton Drive NW Atlanta, GA 30305.
